Building a wheelchair is a CSR Bangkok team building activity to help people suffering with mobility problems. Our team building for mobility event is for anyone living with a disability and wanting to maintain their independence. Wheelchairs can be costly for many elderly and underprivileged people and this corporate social responsibility event will help the needy while developing and improving teamwork. Build a Wheelchair for Mobility asks groups to assemble proper wheelchairs using prefabricated parts. After teams build, there’s a safety check to ensure the wheelchair is safe to donate. This CSR event gives mobility, purpose, and visible impact.

How It Works

Teams get partially dismantled wheelchairs, work together to assemble them, then submit them for safety inspection. A winning team is the first to finish and pass the check. At the end there’s a donation to a local charity.

Build a Wheelchair Team Building Workshop

Although we are calling this event ‘build a wheelchair‘ perhaps it should be called ‘assemble a wheelchair‘ as we would only use proper wheelchairs for safety and comfort. Each wheelchair will only have a few parts removed making it fairly easy to assemble. We can make this a little more challenging and will disclose this during the event only! Each team will be given different parts to a wheelchair which they have to assemble within a given time. Upon completion, there will be a safety check to ensure it is safe to donate. The team to complete the assembly first is the winning team.
